Vicky Westover was born and raised in Washington, D.C.
She is a Tucson based film programmer and producer of film events and films. 🎥 📽
She has over 30 years experience in non-profit arts management.
Recently Vicky served as the Director of the University of Arizona Hanson FilmTV Institute from 2004-2020 where she produced educational programs, public events, and creative projects, including the nationally recognized Tucson Cine Mexico.
She has produced short and feature length independent films, including the documentary Apache 8, distributed by Women Make Movies and Vision Maker Media. She executive produced the documentary Hippie Family Values; executive produced the documentary Almost and Island; is executive producing the documentary The Camino Way; and is producing and directing the documentary Final Vows.
In 2020 she started A Street Productions for creative development, documentary producing, and film programming.
Vicky is also a photographer and digital artist with a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art. 📸 👩🏼🎨 🎨 Her work can be seen on Instagram at vickywestover and vickywestoverdigitalcollages.
