Bio

I am a strategist and focus on development - in both organizations and communities. I work for M+V Altios and support NGOs and companies on Organisational Development, Social Responsibility, Digital Marketing and Communication and measuring impact. I worked first in London, then Internationally before spending 17 years in India. Now I live in Berlin.
 
 Highlights so far:
• A research system to measure impact of NGO programmes across 45 countries.
• A system for better communicating with 1 million donors so they understand the impact of donations.
• An ISO 9001 Quality Management System to improve services for clients trading in India.
• Integrated governance and CSR activities across companies.
• Training in 15 countries.

I was lucky enough to start my career in health research and use that experience to work with NGOs of all sizes to improve the way they think about, measure and communicate their impact. I saw first-hand that community development has the power to help marginalized communities change their reality. I also saw how much impact well-governed private companies can make - to their employees, to their communities. Over the last 12 years in M+V Altios, I have used the skills I learnt in CSR and development in the private sector: transparency, communication, and good governance are applicable everywhere. I am proud to be a strategic advisor for the WASH Institute - a role I will keep as long as they will have me!
