Bio

I am Rosario Welle, a.k.a. Charo, a freelance Spanish-English translator, copy editor, and proofreader. I also offer services as a community interpreter per request. For the past 20 years, my working expertise has concentrated in the fields of education (Pre-k-12), public media and communications, marketing, and healthcare. I am fortunate to work with wonderful direct clients and selected agencies, and to collaborate with trusted colleagues, on projects that align with my work ethics and personal values. Born and raised in the Dominican Republic, I currently enjoy life in Texas. You can also find me serving my community, mentoring my peers, traveling, reading, or practicing ballet.
