Varun Kumar, a first attempt Chartered Accountant, has been a Corporate Banker all his life. After 16 years of corporate banking stint (between ICICI Bank, YES Bank & a NBFC) spanning across small, mid-market & large corporate clients and working on variety of deals incl. plain vanilla WC/TL financing, ECB financing, Project financing, Cross border acquisition financing (incl leveraged buy outs), Restructuring deals, Promoter financing (incl LAS), structured trade finance deals etc, he ventured on his own to set up Fideate Advisory Services LLP.

The scope of work undertaken by the LLP includes: Investment banking (sell side/buy side mandates); Corporate/SME Debt syndication; Investment Advisory (AMFI certified MF expert); Management consulting to companies and its board members; Start up advisory; advising on optimal financing mix for companies etc. Essentially, the objective of set up is to trouble shoot problems by leveraging skills acquired and network developed & nurtured over the years.

The firm is working closely with a financial institutions/PE firms/Funds and their key strength lies in financial engineering which could include doing offbeat funding inc. promoter funding/ collateral backed funding/ Mezzanine Debt / Quasi equity etc.
