I create 👩🏽‍🏫 training content 👩🏽‍💻 for small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs to learn about everything from access to capital, to cyber security, marketing, hiring, intellectual property, and everything in between. I work with an amazing team at the CT Small Business Development Center. SBDCs are U.S. Small Business Administration resource partners, and advising and training are provided at no-cost. YES, FREE!!! I still have no idea why every single entrepreneur, lender, lawyer, accountant, and everyone else in the U.S. working with small businesses doesn’t know about us.

I 📚 teach graduating business majors about the world of Entrepreneurship and what it takes to start a business, and I throw them in the deep end with experiential learning. I believe you have to “do” to learn, and not just read and talk. I also geek-out teaching Integrated Marketing Communications, where we explore all aspects related to understanding customers and creating marketing strategies that communicate with intention.

I’m a 👩🏽‍🔬 recovering engineer. Total 💥science nerd. Which helps balance my creative side and keeps me from flying off into the sunset riding unicorns.

I started my own consulting business to help nonprofits, libraries, and mid market organizations dig deeper into strategy, positioning, and marketing communications while keeping an eye on data and finances.

I’m passionate about social justice and actively work to encourage anti racism and equality at all levels. Part of a food justice urban initiative.

I also believe in the power of the arts, and co-founded a nonprofit that works with artists, art organizations, galleries, and school-age children to expand access and opportunity for current and aspiring artists and art supporters.
