Hello! My name is Valada Mack. I am from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I attended Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. I was a licensed Cosmetogy for over 20 some years and competed in hair shows in the state of Alabama and winning first place.
I love the Lord and savior Jesus Christ and He have kept me through many hardships. Our Church in Atlanta,Georgia traveled to Accra, Ghana on many occasions on mission trips. I am a breast cancer savior for over some twenty years.
I traveled the world through out Southeast Asia working as an International Partner with Habit for Humanity, International based in Bangkok, Thailand and traveled through out that region. Getting Churches in the United States to help build houses for the poor. I had an opportunity to travel to Singapore, Sidney, Australia, Fiji, and Malaysia. I lived in Bangkok, Thailand for over a year. I also traveled along with my twin sister Salada and several other women to South Kerala, India for a Habit build. I was afraid as a child to get on a airplane but if I had allowed fear to be apart of my life I would have never been able to live my life. Fear will handicap you from enjoying the life that God has laid out for His children. “For God has not given us the spirit of fear but power love and a sound mind!” Enjoy life and see the world. I don’t allow my health challenges keep me from enjoying my life. There were people in the Bible with many hardships but it didn’t change them from doing what God had for their lives. God’s plan’s is to prosper all of us.
I am also working on my story because we all have a story to be told. The Bible is the story of Jesus Christ. So let’s live our story without fear.
