I am an educator 📚 unlearning what I learnt to be a WIP Montessori mom 👩‍👦from the Telugu land of Hyderabad.

I practice Montessori at home with my 13 month old baby boy K 👶🏽. My Montessori motherhood journey will help you understand :

I was born and raised in Hyderabad. I call myself a generalist (euphemism for jack of all trades, master of none 🙈 ). I am an engineer by education 👩🏽‍💻. Life took a turn when I joined Teach for India, I realised education is my calling👩🏽‍🏫. This is my 7th year in education and I still find this field so novel and so much to offer. I discovered Montessori while I was learning about early education and I have fallen in love with the Montessori philosophy so deep that there’s no turning back. My son inspires me every day to unlearn and re-learn.

3 things that interest me apart from education are:

💚Travelling. I’ve been to 35 countries 🌏 and I can’t wait to travel with my baby post pandemic (am I showing toxic optimism?).

💛Sarees. They are my go to Indian outfit for any occasion. I have about 150 sarees in my collection.

🧡Doggos. I lived in fear of dogs all my life, until my Airavatha 🐶 happened. He taught me to be kind, patient and love, no matter what!
