Bio

With a huge love for the arts, acting has been a passion of Terrance Mays since he was young boy at the age of seven.
He is a graduate of Texas Southern University where he studied Radio, TV, Film and Speech Communications after attending high school at Paseo Academy of Fine & Performing Arts in Kansas City Missouri where he studied and majored in acting theatre. He has worked on several local Houston (TX) area marketing commercials and has portrayed characters in independent film and theater productions such as the Wiz, Blood Money, Matters of the Heart, Behind Closed Doors, the 2019 Houston broadway award winning Soldiers Wife, A Fly in the Windshield, and the Ensemble Theatre’s Just A Little Love. He was nominated for two categories in the 2018 BroadwayWorld Houston Awards. He has also has completed several film and theatre arts courses including a semester with Esurient Arts class based out of Houston, Texas.

One who knows that there is always room for improvement and growth until the day you die, Terrance Mays always looks forward to achieving new levels as an actor on both the stage and screen. He believes you can accomplish anything you desire if you put forth the work, remain humble, and never allow your circumstances and doubts to determine your outcome.
