Having spent most of my adult working life as an Emergency Department Nurse I took early retirement. The main reasons were for my family, my health and for a great opportunity. Shift work in the high pressure environment of the ED is exhausting and all the research says it shortens your life. Thus to be able to spend more quality time with my family and improve my health I needed a job which I could work when I wanted but still engaged me and made me feel like I was making a difference. I’ve known Paul Nash the owner of Things To Do In for over 35 years and the Peterborough Franchise has proved to be the ideal way forward.
