SANJIV SINGH
Group Chief Strategy Officer, Trescon.
Sanjiv Singh graduated from the Hotel Management discipline
and worked with some of the biggest names in the industry,
such as Oberoi Hotels, Marriott International and the
Intercontinental Group. He ensured smooth operations for all
on-ground activities for the hotels he worked with.
Sanjiv moved to Dubai in 2004 and joined the events industry.
in 2007, where he worked in almost every vertical in the
division with renowned international event organizations
based out of France and USA. This included most business
operations, production, sales and partnership acquisitions.
In a period of over 10 years in the industry, Sanjiv managed
and headed sales, production, operations and designed product strategies for over 150+ events
across the Middle East, Europe and Africa.
After spending more than a decade in Dubai, Sanjiv was bit by the “start-up” bug where his
long-time friend and mentor offered to join hands in setting up a new events entity in India.
After joining Trescon, Sanjiv was tasked to grow and develop the Middle Eastern division and
the East African segment. After successfully doing so, Sanjiv was appointed General Manager
of Global Strategy and Development, where he ensures the CEO’s vision is put on paper and
communicated to all departments. Apart from that, Sanjiv also ensures smooth communication
between multiple verticals in the company to deliver successful events, setting up of KPIs to
deliver the best experience to all the stakeholders and keeping an eye on the finer details
pertaining to budget control, QNC and adherence to corporate benchmark policies for
systematic event execution.
After successfully executing a project in Mauritius for the governments in Mauritius, that
involved the Prime Minister’s office, Economic Development Board and five different
government entities, Sanjiv has been instrumental in setting a new business entity with key
strategic partners and a very successful product line catering to Mauritius’ ambitions in the
emerging technology space. Sanjiv had to relocate to Mauritius for a considerable period to
transform this vision into a reality.
In his new role as Group Chief Strategy Officer, Sanjiv is now involved in replicating the same
model in different countries across the globe.
In his spare time, Sanjiv is a passionate trainer and an avid traveller.
