John Gorman on Clubhouse

Bio

John J. Gorman joins Trashless as its first as Chief Sustainability Officer. In is role he will work to improve the Trashless model and expand its customer base. Prior to joining the Trashless team, John had a long, successful career in the financial sector including a position as director and equity holder of Trenwick America. Gorman is a member of the American Sustainable Business Council and the Social Venture Circle.

In 2009, John became a founding board member of the Plastic Pollution Coalition; a non-profit focused on reducing single use plastics around the globe. The Coalition has over 1 million followers and is on the cutting edge the of environmental, social and governance corporate movement. Among their many initiatives is the Last Plastic Straw campaign and their work was highlighted in the June 2018 “Plastic or Planet? issue of National Geographic.

In his new role, John will marry his finance experience with his passion for the environment by establishing partnerships between Trashless and other like-minded companies. These partnerships will expand the Trashless footprint and further its mission.
