Towonda Kilpatrick is an award-winning playwright living in Atlanta, GA. She is a Philanthropist, Screenwriter, and Producer, who has produced numerous original theatrical productions. She is a creator of original content for film, TV, stage, and also the bestselling coffee table book, Unselfish Women, published under BroKil Publishing Group. The book spotlights over 100 women from across the globe who make a difference by putting the needs of others ahead of their own.
Following the book's success, she is launching The Unselfish Project Foundation to highlight the selfless work of everyday people worldwide. The next volume in the Unselfish book series is Unselfish Men followed shortly thereafter by Unselfish Youth.
Towonda is currently signed to co-produce/develop a 12-movie slate deal with a private company. In 2021, she will begin penning the screenplay of a highly anticipated biopic of a critically acclaimed music group. Following the biopic, she will produce her original script Hussie in the fall of 2021. Her credits will include Screenwriter/Co-Producer.
Towonda has been honored and recognized by Atlanta Business League; Real Times Media's list of Who's Who in Black Atlanta; National Content Writers for Urban Women; and as one of the 100 Most Influential Women in Georgia in True Colors Theatre Company’s “52 Weeks of Women”.
