日本でスイス資本の製薬会社員の頃に英会話学校の先生であった現在の妻❣️と知り合い、彼女の地元ニューヨークへ。

日本で1990年代に流行ったナイキ👟の個人輸入を開始。入荷先を数十店舗あるフランチャイズへ広げ、予想以上の売り上げで製薬会社を辞め、アメリカに貿易会社を設立🎊

度々、アメリカへ行き来する中でアメリカ移民局に拘束👮‍♀️留置及び強制送還🤣などの経験からビジネスビザを正式に取得。

ビジネスビザ取得後、ニューヨークへのフライト運賃が格安となり、滞在施設の需要が上がる中、日本人専用プチホテルをオープン❣️初日から2年間満室でビジネスは好調であったが、奥さんが弁護士学校に行き始めた事もあり手の掛かるホテル経営からツアー会社へ切り替え、引き続き、🇯🇵日本人旅行者をアシストするビジネスを10数年。

現在は個人的にも数多く投資してきた不動産を自己ビジネスにする為に、ニューヨーク最大不動産会社のコーコラングループで投資家アドバイザーとして活躍👍🏼

In my twenties, I lived in Japan and worked at an international Swiss-based pharmaceutical company. This was also when I met my New York City born wife, who was an English teacher.

At this time, 👟Nike sneakers were extremely hot in Japan. Spotting the trend, I branched out to start a new business exporting Nike sneakers from the U.S. to Japan.. My business rapidly expanded from five small stores to over twenty franchise stores. I quit my job and created a trading company in New York City.

I often travelled to New York City a few times a month. One time when I landed, I had an unfortunate incident with immigration regarding business funds I was carrying and I had to stay the night at a detention center in JFK airport. I was deported to Japan in handcuffs👮🏼‍♀️with the condition that I couldn't re-enter the U.S. for ten years😱
I spent the next few months with an attorney in Japan clearing up the miscommunication and getting a business visa.

Cut to the next few years. I was living in New York and noticing that ✈️flights between New York and Japan had become significantly more affordable.
☝🏼I realized that this brought a new wave of young Japanese travelers who needed reasonably priced accommodations.🏢
I opened a bed and breakfast in Chelsea, 🎊 Manhattan to cater to these visitors. It sold out every night for two years straight. It was a good business, 💵 but a lot of full time work. So, I started a travel company that introduced a curated list of hotels to serve these Japanese travelers.

After successfully investing in a few properties, 👌🏼I switched gears to become a real estate advisor in the Corcoran Group in New York.
