In 2010 he and his group had the opportunity to be apart of Season 2 of NBC’s The Sing Off. Committed won the entire show and were immediately signed to Sony Epic.

During the time Tomy Ge., was signed he worked with and arranged for various artists and TV programs. In 2011 his group was the show opener in Jamaica for the Jazz and Blues Festival for artist such as Maroon 5 and more. He and his group kicked off the Made in America Festival in Philadelphia, Pa. During his time with committed he arranged for the Nashville Symphony, World Champion’s Oakwood University Aeolians, the intro w/ Adam Blackstone for the performance he did with Mavis Staple on the NAACP Image Awards. He also worked with Warryn Campbell (Baby Dub), Erica Campbell (Mary Mary), Dr. Cedric Dent (Take 6), and Mervyn Warren (former member of Take 6). He also arranged and performed with Rascall Flats at the Dove Awards, performed with Fred Hammond, Take 6, Boys 2 Men. He also performed at the Stellar Awards and The Ad Color Award Show. He later appeared on a PBS special, the Ellen Show, the Today Show, and Good Morning America. He also was nominated for a Dove Award and a NAACP Image Award. In 2014, shortly after leaving the group he partnered with a hometown friend to start a label and have been working together for the past 13 years. They have released five projects together officially under the name Understood Music.

In 2018 he moved to Nashville to pursue his solo career. After his first writers round it opened up doors to tour with numerous artist locally and outside of Nashville. He also toured as a keyboardist with the opening act up for The Billy Curringinton Tour. On February 15th he released a duo album, “ The Scientific Method” which he fully produced, mixed and mastered. After the summer of 2019 he decided to focus on Tomy Ge. full time and released a fully self produced Album titled “No Excuses pt.1” as an Independent Artist.
