Founder of transformation company Avansere AS
Co-owner of The Future Laboratory
Partner of Society Lab

Expert in foresight and transformation, organisational visions and models, change and development.

For two decades, I have been making a better future happen for the world’s best known corporations. From 2005-2020 I was senior partner at The Future Laboratory, one of the world’s most renowned futures consultancies. With a unique blend of trend forecasting, consumer insight, foresight, brand strategy and innovation, I inspired and future-proofed organisations like General Motors, Condé Nast, Nike, Pernod Ricard, H&M, Nike, BMW, lululemon, Jameson Whiskey, HSBC, L’Oreal, UBS and Selfridges to name a few.

However, more often than not, even the best foresight, strategies and innovations to deliver positive social and environmental impact lie on the shelf unused, or worse still on the workshop room floor.

To tackle this, I started by own company Avansere AS in Norway to specialise in moving people forwards in a purposeful way, to help their organisations succeed in generating a new and more vigorous social, natural and economic world.

My fullest expression and deepest satisfaction comes from foreseeing and solving complex future economic, social and environmental need puzzles; and simplifying the transition through these puzzles so that organisations like IKEA, Innovation Norway, Redbull, Havas Media, MINI, Copenhagen Airport and Mowi can move forwards and prosper.
