Host of ‘Let’s talk about improving our mental health’ 🧠

This is a clubhouse at 2:30pm BST where we discuss new and innovative perspectives to navigate our psychological experience and interview guests about their journey with mental health or professionals in this space sharing their expertise.

My name is Tj and I run a mental health company that provides organizations with an opportunity to prioritize mental health from a new perspective. Alongside this I work on the board of Whiteclam, The Wellbeing Company as the Director of Mental Health and Wellbeing.

🌳 My mission is to empower individuals with a new, innovative perspective of how to navigate challenging emotional experiences, how to communicate with themselves, and how to psychologically manage the speed of technological change in our world. Alongside guiding individuals to deeply understand how a human is evolutionarily designed to navigate our planet, enabling them to align their daily behaviour in a way that proactively prevents mental health imbalance 🌳

Following the completion of my BSc and MSc alongside working as a Lecturer at Exeter University, my career in mental health began by developing a holistic psychological wellbeing program for young women that are on their journey through cancer. Following the initial creation and success of ‘The Tj Power Journey,’ I began adapting the program to meet a variety of alternative audiences including the corporate world, start-ups, and the younger generation.

This journey I have constructed takes place over a 6-week period guiding individuals through 10 key steps:

1. Understanding the mind
2. How we respond during emotional difficulty
3. Where we get our sense of validation and self-worth from
4. How we communicate with ourselves
5. The psychology of movement
6. Our connection with the natural world
7. The importance of our gut health
8. How we can improve our sleep
9. Our relationship with technology
10. The construction of a personalized wellbeing routine
