Children’s Book Author 📖📚

As a black children’s lit author, I aim to spark the imagination and fantasy within my young readers. As a young girl, I loved to choose the books with black faces on them. However, it was the likes of “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day”, the Ramona Quimby series (Beverly Cleary), the Miss Nelson series (Harry G. Allard), etc that inspired me to create entertaining, humorous, and imaginative stories for little black children alike.

Zoe is a character based on my super vibrant, energetic, bubbly little girl. She is confident, witty, athletic, aggressive and very relatable to all children her age (second grade). The book “Granny’s Hair is Everywhere” is set to introduce Zoe to the world.
I want to build adventure within young souls, pull out confidence that is already within, and have my readers anticipating the next page. The series will be dope. Tap in. Thank you for your support
