Biographical Testimony

I was born in Birmingham, AL in 1961. I was raised there with my older brother and younger sister until I graduated from high school and went to college in 1980. I attended Tuskegee University on a full athletic scholarship. I played football for 3 yrs and finished the remainder of my education through loans, academic scholarship, and savings from Internships that I worked every other semester. I graduated number 1 in my Engineering class with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

I received Christ in November of 1982 when a co-worker witnessed to me in our company's cafeteria during one of my internships. He asked me if I were to die that day did I know if I would be in heaven with God or in hell with the Devil. It was a time in my life when I was experiencing success in all areas of my life, but I had recently begun to feel emptiness inside and was searching; my success didn't give me my true purpose in life. I answered his question with a certain “I will be in hell with the devil." (I had been raised in church so I knew about heaven and hell.) He shared the simple gospel with me that day and my life has never been the same. When I received Christ in the cafeteria that day the emptiness was filled.

Since then He has blessed me continually. I have a wife who loves God and 3 fine children. He has provided constant revelation of who He is and the love that He has for me and all of mankind. God is now the center of my life and my only purpose for living. Life would not be worth living without Him.

I have now walked with God for almost 40 years. During this time I have learned more about my purpose, calling, and gifting. I function in the church Ministry as a Prophet and Teacher and church governments as an ordained Elder. During my moves throughout the years I served mostly as a Prophetic Evangelist.

We are currently re-establishing “Words of Life Teaching Ministries” in Augusta, GA where we plan to build our ministry headquarters and training center. We also have a passion to help church organizations improve their fulfillment of the commission of Christ to “go into all the world and teach the Gospel”.
