My name is Tim Monaghan, and I am a part-time landscape photographer from Dorset in the United Kingdom.

My goal is to try and capture atmospheric images and show off the beauty of Dorset, the Jurassic Coast, New Forest, and beyond. I am lucky that my love for the outdoors has taken me all over the country and to many parts of the world, but Iceland particularly has my heart.

I am in love with light and extreme weather. I live for adventure and to experience things that some people miss out on. I feel at home amongst the mountains and my landscape photography is a way of capturing a moment that I can share with other people. Ideally, I would like my landscape photography to encourage people to be more adventurous and to appreciate the beauty of this planet. Most of all though, I want to inspire.

Through my wild camping and photography workshops, it is my aim not only to teach people about the art of Landscape photography but to encourage people to be more active and look after our environment.

I’ve been fortunate enough to have my work featured by The North Face and Practical Photography magazine, but also nominated as one of the Foresty Englands “Instagram accounts to follow if you love nature”, which was a real honour.
