🎤 I started producing and showcasing independent films on 80’s in Japan, then I also produced a film festival and music related events early 90’s in Tokyo. While I worked with Kuzui Enterprises in Tokyo late 80’s, I was in charge of distributing, marketing and publicizing American independent films, such as Stop Making Sense and D.O.A. Sex Pistols, in Japan. After I moved to the US late 90’s, I started my own sales rep & distribution company who distributed Japanese films in North America. Now I am focusing on international distribution of Asian and other independent films plus developing international film projects. Right now, I am working for Sekigawa’s classic HIROSHIMA, Hayashi’s TO SLEEP SO AS TO DREAM, Funahashi’s LOVERS ON BORDERS and Miyazaki’s VIDEOPHOBIA.
Also, I am representing Alex Chu’s For Izzy, Garateguy’s Until You Untie Me and Prabda Yoon’s Motel Mist. So far I have been distributing and releasing over 100 films in North America and other countries.
Recently I directed and produced a short film Laundromat on the Corner, too. I will distribute my film by myself.
