Bio

We help ambitious brands scale at retail.

I began my career teaching at the university level, and then spent decades of work as a global strategy consultant. I’ve lived in Northwest Arkansas since 1989 when we moved to the area to teach at the University of Arkansas.

Brands at retail first began to make sense for me at the inception of the Walmart/Procter & Gamble partnership in the early 1990’s. Tom Muccio, P&G’s architect of that interface, asked for help. The subsequent work allowed me a front-row seat as that unique relationship took shape and then matured.

Arena works with brands across the store. We have specific expertise in helping brands grow at velocity—sometimes because a liquidity event is anticipated. A number of our brands come from overseas.
