From L.A. native Jan Stanton’s first script idea to her first Producing credit, the creative thinker has added original features, pilots, and a short film to her name. Jan's stick-to-it-iv-ness won her the "Unstoppable Creator” award (Sydney Indie FF, for her short film THINK FAST, directed by Bridget Stokes and currently on Amazon Prime) and "Best Drama TV Pilot Script" (Moondance International FF, for CRISIS CENTER). She even blogs as 25-year-old Evie Stewart, a character from her comedy #itSUCKS, with 65K followers!

Resilience is key in Jan’s female-driven comedies, dramedies, and edgier stories. As a volunteer at Cedars Sinai’s ER, Jan learned to serve life’s rotten eggs sunny-side-up... with a side of wry. Although the journalism major created two successful companies and was an Entrepreneurial Woman Magazine cover-girl, Jan's favorite title is being the heart of her large extended family. Always seeing the world through her (slightly cracked) rose-colored glasses, Jan -- and her characters -- will never stop trying to find the funny.
