Bio

Hello all. I am currently 62 years old. I live in Florida, the Tampa Bay area, and I currently work for a company which creates software and hardware for people who are blind or who have low vision. I work in the test department, which means they pay me to try to break stuff. I love the work, but one of these days, I will probably retire. It might be 20 or 30 years from now, but someday.
I was born and raised in Bryan Texas, and went to school mainly at the Texas School for the Blind in Austin, but I spent a couple of years in Tempe Arizona, and while I was there, I attended ASDB (Arizona School for the Deaf and Blind, as it was called then. I do not know if the name has changed or not, as I haven't heard anything about that school since I left way back in 1971.
I have three great kids, my oldest, a Son, is 38, my middle Son is 37 and my daughter is 35. I also have four grandchildren, two of which live in Texas and the other two live here in Florida.
I am a huge country music fan, especially the music that was popular from the late 70s through the early 2000s. I also sing country music, though it has been quite a while since I did any serious singing. I wanted to break into the business, but it was not to be, and when we moved to Florida back in 2000, I basically stopped singing. I still do Karaoke, but with COVID-19, even that has ground to a hault. Don't get me wrong, I dig classic rock, but I sing country. I'm told I'm pretty good too.
That's basically it for me. Now, when I go into a room, I'll have a bio, so people don't think I'm a bot or something.
