Originally a neuroscientist focused on brain computer interface and interest in entrepreneurship drove me to Stanford, where I got my MBA and confounded my first company with my now wife Simone. I subsequently became Director of Strategy at Korea’s number one early stage VC at the time, came back to wife and raised money to start our own fund, did a roll up of travel operators, and pre COVID ran a business empire together doing around 70m a year.

In my spare time I lecture on management techniques (including at Stanford, Harvard, and Carnegie Mellon), play video games, watch anime, cook, garden, play with my puppy, and play with my kids.

My internet claim to fame is proposing to my wife on Reddit.

I split my time between my house in Miraflores Peru and my 1700s cottage in the woods near Valley Forge.
