I’m a news reporter/ political commentator, producer, the voice for social injustice, equal rights for women, immigration, and an advocate for people who can't speak for themselves.

My employment in the field of broadcast journalism spans various media entities, including NBC 4 Washington DC, PBS, FEMA Recovery Channel, DCTV, Montgomery Community Media, and The United Negro College Fund Special Programs TV.

My online news platform, “The News with OB, covers all current affairs, politics and news happening in the local community and around the world.

In 2018, I published her first book titled “Sibling Caregivers: How to have a life, be encouraged and live stress free.” It talks about my journey as a caregiver to my only sibling who has a disability. At some point in our lives we’ll all be caregivers to a spouse, parent, sibling etc. My book gives a lot of tips on how to plan and navigate this area of life when the time comes.

I am a huge believer in having some type of trade, no matter how many degrees one has. So, I pursued her passion in skincare and became a licensed skin therapist in NY, MD, VA. In the middle of the pandemic, I inadvertently started two businesses; a facial bar and a skincare line (launching in March 2021).

FUN FACT: I got into spartan races 4yrs ago and I’ve been hooked! I call myself the Naija Spartan chic, even if my knees won’t cooperate 😂
