Hi, Iβm Lauren ππΌ. Iβm the DIAGEO & World Class Global Cocktailian and owner of Bittered Sling Bitters.
Iβve been in hospitality for 24 years, bartending for 21, and own three businesses (π¨π¦ + π³π±), am a sommelier π·, writer βοΈ, project creator π‘π§ and community connector ππΌββοΈ. I studied International Relations and Peace & Conflict Studies and Universities of Waterloo & Toronto.
I was the World Class Canada and Vancouver Magazine Bartender of the Year 2015, and today, Iβm lucky to spearhead the World Class Studios global education program, and the creator of World Class Community Week (ongoing, regional program, global development). π π π π
I work on many philanthropic causes and programs that support women, diversity & inclusion, water replenishment, emerging markets, accessible education and positive drinking on the regional & global level. π¦ πβπ½βπ»βπΏπ΄π³οΈβπ
I have visited 60+ countries in the last 5 years, spending time with communities of amazing people. βοΈ Iβm from Canada, but currently living in Amsterdam, completing my masterβs, and writing a book. π¨π¦ π³π±
