My name is IBINABO AMAKIRI

Schooled at Queen Mary, University of London

I am the Convener, The Creative Hub, Port Harcourt, Nigeria 🇳🇬

I am a trained Lawyer, Art Enthusiast, Culture Lover, Writer, Youth Advocate, Avid Tourist and Community Builder

I am a strong supporter of the African Dream and vocal in the belief that Africa’s strengths lies within her and we must as a result take control of our narrative, tell our own stories and build with tenacity, homegrown solutions

I founded the Creative Hub, A Creative Community Space and innovation Hub that supports the discovery and development of Creative Entrepreneurial Talent in Port Harcourt and the Niger Delta in 2018 and since inception through its Programs, Projects, Platforms and Events has been able to Foster Collaborations, Aid Innovation, Impact Community and Grow Enterprise in Our City, impacting over 5000 Individuals/Enterprises to date

My work has overtime been recognized by The British Council, CNBC Africa, Shell Nigeria and The Nigerian Tide and I have received many awards from different Organizations including being awarded The Most Creative Person of the Year 2019 for my immense contributions to the Entertainment and Creative Arts Space

With so much done and so much more to do, I strive on, working on Art Content, My two soon to be published books –The Stench of Success and other stories and Claypots of Steel (Her Autobiography) and continuously putting my community and Nigerian Arts and Culture on the Global Map
