I’m an activist, educator, higher education professional, and all around “angelic troublemaker” in the spirit of James Baldwin and Bayard Rustin. I’ve worked in the field of higher education for over 10 years. I’m currently pursuing a doctorate in Higher Education Leadership & Policy studies. I’ve been activist for over 15 years. I primarily focus on racial justice and LGBTQ+ issues. I’m an organizer with Black Lives Matter: Houston, Co-Chapter Director with New Leaders Council Houston, the Screening Chair of the Houston GLBT Political Caucus and the research coordinator for the Mayor’s LGBTQ+ Advisory Board
