I will never say a degree is not important but there is a perception that you can’t be successful in IT with out one. That is false!! Experience and or Certifications work just as well.
I am open to network and have discussions to move the culture forward.
I don’t have all the answers but I can tell you what I know, what has worked for me and, what you can do to set yourself apart.
I am a bit unorthodox with my approaches but they have worked for me. I will give you my honest non-biased opinion.
More often than not we just need a sounding board. Someone with a keen ear to listen and give honest feedback as we may already have the answer or an idea to solve the problem that stands before us.
