ANDERSON (b. Shane Anderson; Kansas City, MO US) is an international photographer and producer fascinated by the power of perception. Obsessed with the construction of environments, Anderson’s work explores the intersection of emotional experience and sensory response associated to place. Anderson’s manipulation of detail and clever lighting imbue these ideas with a nostalgic sentiment stemming from his childhood in Midwestern America and early career spent between London & Milan. A unique background in mathematics acts as a backbone to this nearly flâneur mentality. Though his body of work exists suspended amidst abstract realism, provocative undertone and gilded, dream-like whimsy, it also provides subtext to be enjoyed on simpler terms. Anderson's commercial photography, productions and talent activations can be seen in international publications and campaigns around the globe.
