* Launched Higher Education Act Reform Campaign (1998), which re-instated federal financial aid eligibility for those with drug convictions. The first federal drug war era legislation ever rolled back in the US.

* Through the HEA Reform Campaign, launched and shepherded the founding of Students for Sensible Drug Policy SSDP.org now active in 30+ countries.

* Founder, Craft Cannabis Alliance

* Launched and published (1997-2000) The Week Online - the first ever online newsmagazine covering national and international drug policy from a reform perspective.

Founder/Director: Vote By Mail Project (2006-2010). Expanded access to mail-in voting in multiple states. Led Colorado’s shift from polling place elections to all-mail elections.
