In 2012, I used my two passions; dance and film to become a full-time entrepreneur and business owner of DREAM Incorporated. Over time, the business has evolved with God’s plan at the forefront (Sidenote: To be honest, God is really the CEO and I’m just the vessel. Àṣẹ ). DREAM originally started out as D.R.E.A.M Productions LLC, where we create content for the spectrum of artistry; dance, film, hair and make-up, nail art, culinary arts, tattooing, modded cars, etc. Once we made a name for ourselves and built a clientele in Los Angeles & Baltimore, we expanded. In 2016, we launched our nonprofit sector of DREAM Incorporated, DREAM Complex. DREAM Complex is an interactive after-school arts program, where we serve the South Los Angeles Area specifically Watts, South Central, Compton, and Crenshaw. For the past four years, we’ve traveled SoCal and hosted a number of workshops for our youth, had successful fundraisers, events, and even hosted a huge Community Block Party in DTLA September 2019 and a Virtual Community Block Party in October 2020. Our why is true freedom and liberation for generations to come. We overstand that children are our future. We acknowledge that when we teach them young about consciously thinking outside the box, honing onto their God-given gifts and talents, and how to build wealth, this can be the start to shifting the paradigm for Black America and literally change the world.
