Tewodross "Teo" Melchishua Williams is an award-winning digital media producer, filmmaker, animator, projection designer, afrofuturist and professor born in Washington, DC and raised in Prince George’s County, MD. As a filmmaker, he is currently exploring projects in narrative and dramatic film, animation, short and long form video, mini-documentaries, visual art and more.

He is also is currently exploring concepts in science fiction, music and culture. In addition to cinematic and artistic endeavors, he also continues to work in the areas of motion graphics, animation, visual branding, production design, and projection design in the DMV area. His production studio collective is Visual Jazz located in the Gateway Arts District in Prince George’s County, in Mount Rainier, MD.

Teo also serves as Department Chairperson of the Department of Fine and Performing Arts, and as an Associate Professor and Program Coordinator of the Visual Communication and Digital Media Arts program, at Bowie State University, located in Bowie, MD. Proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Television Academy, AIGA (DC Chapter) and the Creative Edge Collaborative.
