Bio

Paul Duke is an English language coach, tutor, and Juilliard School English instructor from Vancouver, Canada. He is focused on helping
professionals and adult learners around the world improve their advanced English communication skills through customized online coaching.

He teaches English for the Tianjin Juilliard School of Music, and the Sakata Minami School in Yamagata, Japan.

In addition to teaching coaching, and editing services, Paul’s specialties include academic, blog, article, and creative writing; developing advanced grammar control & expression; and media-centric presentation skills. Paul’s customized writing workshops are ideal for improving overal writing skills in preparation for proficiency exams such as IELTS and TOEFL.

Paul is also the creator and host of the Youtube channel, HARD-BOILED ENGLISH WITH TEACHER PAUL, which features several video series, including the entertaining long-form grammar exploration series ENGLISH WEIRDNESS. Paul also hosts a weekly live streaming English Q&A show called HARD-BOILED ENGLISH-LIVE, which can be seen free on Youtube, Facebook, Linkedin, Twitter, Dailymotion, and AfreecaTV every Friday evening at
7pm (PDT).
