Bio
Tashea Brodgins is an Democratic Political Strategist and a youth and young professionals activist in the Democratic Party for over 25 years. During my time in politics, I have worked to advance young people between the ages of 18 to 40 in all areas of politics, whether as an activist, community organizer, candidate for office, or journalist.
In the past, I have served as the Women's Caucus chair of the Young Democrats of Maryland and the Minority Caucus chair of the Young Democrats of America. I was also involved with the DNC Youth Council and the Congressional Black Caucus Emerging Leaders. And a elected member of the Baltimore City State Democratic Central Committee.
"My role in various youth organizations has given me a chance to meet young people, in particular, young people of color of various backgrounds, from across the world to come up with viable solutions to ensure that young people, young women and young minorities are a part of the political landscape of the future. I have been a confident and supportive leader and mentor to many Young Democrats and has helped sustain and grow the Baltimore City Young Democrats over the last years by organizing forums, community service, social and campaign events, making BCYD a fixture in the Baltimore political scene!
My role in the Democratic Party is to elect Democrats to office, educate, register people to vote and mobilize the people to the polls. In addition to becoming mentors and leaders in the community.
