The Brunch Pitch Competition's co-founders Emma and Tasemere would like to make pitch competitions more accessible to Black entrepreneurs. Traditionally, the barrier to enter a pitch competition involved having a business plan completed. We have removed barriers that have been known to discourage Black entrepreneurs to enter the competition and instead have nailed down some basic questions that all entrepreneurs should be able to answer.
Urban Planner turned Business Visionary and Strategist. I launched the DM Firm specifically for micro-entrepreneurs and small businesses. Coupling urban planning with business development and strategy, Tasemere’s approach to business is global. This approach takes into account how cities, culture, politics, and business work together.
