Bio

Tara St. Michel is a Canadian vocalist, voice actor, and musician from Regina, Saskatchewan who is also known for her YouTube channel where she uploads English adaptations and covers of anime, Vocaloid, and video game songs. Some of her voice acting roles include Inaho Asaba in Bloody Chronicles: New Cycle of Death, Gearsmith in Trial of Titans, and Kasma in Once Upon a Planet.

As a child, Tara spent several years of her life learning to play the piano. At an early age, Tara was able to transcribe melodies she heard to the piano, later using this ability to form piano arrangements of video game tunes and popular songs. Tara started to experiment with writing her own songs at age 12, which set the stage for her future career as a musical artist.

At age 15, Tara also began voice acting online. She was inspired by internet voice actors on YouTube, opting to try her own hand at voice acting by joining online forums to practice and learn about the craft. These forums soon led to her discovery and exploration of the world of anime song covers and translation lyrics, which was a popular trend among more musical members of the internet voice acting community. In 2015, Tara began regularly uploading to her YouTube channel with covers of video game songs and anime tunes. Today, Tara writes music as well, which she releases alongside covers as a professional vocalist.
