Tanja Andrejasic Wechsler, CEO, Visionary Designer Creator of I AM WATER DROP and Founder of OUR HUMANITY MATTERS, is dedicated to inspiring a more enlightened and sustainable humanity that appreciates beauty, joy of life and understands that everything is interconnected.
Tanja grew up in Slovenia--a country known for its pristine waters, and the first in the European Union to amend Water Rights to its constitution and denounce water privatization. She spent much of her childhood by water streams observing water in its most primordial form, developing an understanding of and respect for its life-giving force.
While in Slovenia, Tanja completed Mechanical Engineering School and graduated from a rigorous study in Philosophy with world-renowned philosophers at the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts. Later in New York, she received an MA in Media from the New School University where her mentor Paul Ryan deepened her understanding in Ecology and its relationship to mind and media.
Tanja states that water is her client and believes that the current marketing strategies and product choices available to us in terms of water consumption are creating more damage to our water and perpetuating
the misuse of water. Knowing that it will require a new mindset to repair the damages we are creating, Tanja made a commitment to use the power of the marketplace to bring better awareness and appreciation for water to consumers, and to counteract the misinformation about water and to reduce the abuse of the fragile, natural equilibrium on which we depend.
