Hey!🤗I’m Taja.
I’ve been living with type 1 diabetes for over 22yrs. The first 18yrs I hid it because I didn’t want to be “different”. Growing up in a small town it was easier to hide diabetes even though on the inside I felt alone and struggled in silence. From a young age I struggled with my weight and body image. People told me I’d never be fit because I had diabetes. It made me hate diabetes and my body. I felt really insecure about my body and like I had no control over it. I didn’t realize at the time that diabetes wasn’t the reason I couldn’t lose weight and that the only thing standing between where I was and where I wanted to go was...me. My unhealthy habits and poor self image was a result of the lack of knowledge I had at the time. The very thing I thought was keeping me stuck was actually the very thing that would set me free and now that’s exactly what I share with you! Because I know that you, too, can live an unstoppable life and feel proud of your body, yourself and your life.
