Bio
Born in New York City while my dad, actor Ken Mars was on an out of town theatrical preview, my mom birthed me with my anxious (understatement) Jewish grandma in the waiting room.
Might this marriage between two volcanic artists who met on the first national tour of The Sound of Music, one playing a nun and one a Nazi, last?
Nah. So that.
Fast forward. Waaaay forward.
Now based in Portland, Oregon, with stints in LA and beyond, I’ve been a working actress since age 10; always wiggling my way out of school to go to work with my dad, or as he put it, to be in “the show business.” Now a resident artist at Artists Repertory Theatre and working within the confines of Covid as an arts ambassador for the US state department in Cairo Egypt I am living the creative dream, Zoomin all over the place and rockin’ my professional home VO studio Mars On Life VO.
