Founder and CEO @ ECCENSCIA.COM & Professor of Applied Mathematics .

I hold a PhD in Applied Mathematics and Computational Finance and I am presently the CEO at ECCENSCIA.COM, a cybersecurity company, and a professor of applied mathematics at the Tshwane University of Technology.

My corporate career includes roles as Quantitative Analyst Consultant at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, Business Analyst at Andile Solutions, the South African Reserve Bank, Investec and Standard Bank and as Senior Researcher in real options and green finance in the department of statistics and actuarial sciences at the University of Western Ontario, Canada.

I have a passion for mathematics and blockchain technology, Decentralized Finance and, through active research and practice, I have become a respected thought leader in these disciplines. Among several of my contributions in the space, I introduced a formal course in the mathematics of Bitcoin, cryptocurrency and blockchain technology at the University of Pretoria.
