Bio

✍🏽 I am a poetry writer currently living in the Atlanta area. My writing includes short stories, prose poems, and poems reflective of what it’s like growing up in the souf. Currently I am in the process of publishing my first poetry book entitled “Kept”. In the meantime, my work can be checked out on vocal.media/asyafields.

🧘🏽 I enjoy connecting spirituality to all the things I do in life. I love hearing about the spiritual journey of others and see how it connects us all through Spirit.

📚 I consider myself a life learner on topics such as literacy, religion, spirituality, generational trauma, and psychology. Currently, I am a masters of special education candidate at Clark Atlanta University and hope to use the knowledge gained in this program to develop ethical, race based literacy curriculum for elementary students who have learning exceptionalities.

📽 I collect books as well and love listening to interviews to stay abreast to the many topics around blackness and education.

🏡 On clubhouse you can find me in any room that is discussing spirituality, adult ADHD, meditations, spoken word and poetry, and the benefits of psychedelics.


***Current Projects***
Be on the lookout for my first collection of Alignment Journals for spiritual creatives who need more focus and clarity. These are set to be released on 1/31. I believe my purpose in this world is to serve and heal. I do that through writing and encouraging the use of creative outlets.
