Yes, I'm a former teacher, but guess what, having the knowledge of the education system doesn't make me a better home educating parent than you! In fact, when I decided to go down this route, that's when my troubles started.

I thought I could bring the school into my living room. Oh how neive I was! Obviously, my son rebelled and I was at a loss.

Where do I go?
Who do I speak to?
How do I do this?

What I realised after all the downs at the start, was that I had to Deschool myself before I could plunge into home schooling/education. Understanding that I needed to change my mindset was a gamechanger for me.
