I am a UK-based clinical animal behaviourist and dog trainer who specialises in working with sighthounds, especially ex-racing greyhounds.

Bit of a late bloomer, I discovered my true calling thanks to a rescue greyhound called Mina. Little did I know the impact she would have on my life!

After 27 years' experience in senior marketing communications roles, I retired from the corporate life and made the switch to working full time in training and behaviour. I have never looked back!

Currently, I work for Dogs Trust, as a Clinical Animal Behaviourist, providing behaviour consultations to adopters of Dogs Trust dogs who require more specialist input for behaviour issues. Prior to this, I was the Behaviour and Welfare Manager for UK sighthound charity, Forever Hounds Trust, where I was actively involved in developing kennelling and welfare strategy, as well as managing the behaviour and training function. I’ve also worked with other rescue dog and greyhound charities, including the Greyhound Trust.

Before moving across to the charity sector, I ran my own successful behaviour and training business for many years, providing behaviour consults, training classes and workshops.

I am a director of the Fellowship of Animal Behaviour clinicians and a guest lecturer ( in Marketing and business) for the Association of Pet Dog Trainers UK and the Professional Association of Canine Trainers. I’m also a regular speaker at conferences and workshops and I have presented at national and international conferences about greyhound behaviour and welfare, post-racing.

I share my home with my lovely husband, my three sighthounds – Greyhound, Saluki & Lurcher – and confident cat.
