Suhail is an award-winning serial entrepreneur, consultant, startup investor/mentor, innovation authority, TEDx speaker, and activist.
Suhail is the founder of Falak Consulting, a values-based, purpose-driven strategy and innovation consultancy. Falak’s purpose is to build stronger economies and happier societies by unlocking business and human potential.
Suhail is also the founder and curator of the Unreasonable Thinking Network (UTN). UTN is a community where entrepreneurs, innovators and change makers can connect, learn and thrive. UTN’s purpose is to help members unleash their potential so they can make a positive impact on the world.
Among other awards, Suhail is the winner of the 2015 eEntrepreneur Award, granted by the Bahrain eGovernment Authority. He has two business degrees and has attended numerous executive education courses including ones in Harvard Kennedy School and MIT. He’s also been a member of Entrepreneur Organisation (EO) since 2006 and has served in various positions within EO.
Suhail is a dedicated student of reconciliation and peace-building and is passionate about promoting civil dialogue in Bahrain. He is the Founder and Chairman of the Bahrain Foundation for Dialogue (BFD). The BFD [formerly the Bahrain Foundation for Reconciliation and Civil Discourse] was launched on the 10th of May 2012, with the blessing of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
The BFD aims to promote civil dialogue, community coherence, and civil harmony, through a series of programs and events that highlight the importance of constructive cooperation and positive coexistence, and facilitate the exchange of ideas throughout society. Since it’s inception the BFD has conducted over 50 events with over 1,500 people of all ages attending.
