Suchandra is a mother to 4 furry children, a devoted romantic partner to another woman and an entrepreneur. I realised she was exclusively attracted to women when she was in school, and while she thought she knew what love felt like before, she confesses to experiencing true love after meeting her soulmate, Sree in 2012.

She is also a host of a popular LGBTQ Live Talk Show "Live with Pride".

Led by her serious passion for Photography, Suchandra quit her stable corporate job in 2012 and founded her own brand of photography business - Suchandragraphy which went on to become very successful over the years. 

Later, as a way of serving women from various marginalised communities, Suchandra founded another project called Desi Kalakari which trains and enables women to make statement jewelleries and sells those jewelleries using different social and other digital platforms she has built along with her partner in the last few years.

In 2020 Suchandra launched an audio story podcast channel named Adbhooture focussing on horror, mystery and Sci-Fi which runs successfully till date and boasts of a large number of global audience. Adbhooture also branched out into a Short Film Festival and an Apparel and Stationery brand. 

Suchandra is focussed on the idea of income generation for queer people and employs them on regular basis on different projects run by her, including Adbhooture and Desi Kalakari. 

Suchandra lives in Kolkata with her soulmate, Sree and their 4 children with paws - Romeo, Nayantara, Padmalochan & Byomkesh. She loves to travel whenever she can. An avid lover of visual arts, Suchandra enjoys cinema in all formats. She is upset by discrimination and hatred towards any living being.
