🇬🇧🇯🇵I'm a UK Citizen who has been resident longer in Japan for longer than I was resident in the UK.

👨🏻‍🎓I have worked in IT since graduating with a degree in Computer Engineering from City University in 1988.

🐍I program in Python almost every day but in past jobs have developed in assembly language, C, C++ and Java. I'm interested in Rust, Javascript and programming in general.

📈In the distant past I worked on developing Lotus products such as 1-2-3 DOS & Windows, Freelance and WordPro and I'm interested in talking with people who also worked on them.

🤝I now offer consulting services to a large Japanese multinational company in Tokyo through the small Tokyo based company that own.

⚽️ My greatest passion though is following Japanese football particularly Yokohama F. Marinos. Around 2012 I went from being an occasional TV football watcher to being a full on supporter travelling around Japan following the team. As a result I made 100s if not 1000s of new friends and acquaintances and have had many memorable experiences all over Japan.
