Bio

I Am the Founder and Managing Partner of Vereen Development Group (VDG); a family owned Real Estate Investment & Business Development Corporation designed to create profitable ventures that produce jobs, economic empowerment and revitalization in the Black community. We also focus on under-served, disinfrnchised and poor communities. Currently VDG has several subsidiaries; one of which I am the principal, "Chosen Path Strategies, LLC".

Chosen Path Strategies was launched to provide executive, business & life coaching services targeted to emerging executives, entrepreneurs and individuals. I have developed my passion to serve through family, church and my non-profit community development experience which is reflected in both my education and career pursuits.

My leadership skills were developed in non-profit executive management and network marketing. Where I've helped to create and implement organizations economic development initiatives and have gained a reputation of being insightful, strategic and empowering. I have held a few board positions. I served as the prior Chapter Chair & President of SCORE Philadelphia and the Prior Board Member for Homeowners Counseling Association of Delaware Valley (HCADV).

Currently, I am the Chair of the Board for Why Not Prosper, a transitional housing and recovery house for women. In addition, I am developing a non-profit organization focused on RE-Entry services for Men from the Philadelphia region who are returning home from incarnation. We will help men to rebuild, rebrand and relaunch their lives. This organization is geared towards restoring men and giving them a strong launching pad for their future. I want to positively impact on recidivism buy applying the old adage; "You can feed a man a fish for a day or you can teach a man to fish for a life time", by introducing these men to entrepreneurship, trades skills and jobs training.
