Dr. Stephen Daniel Arnoff illuminates the intersection of 🎸rock and rock and 🙏🏽religion, offering both the casual and the committed a new gospel of popular culture.

His teaching, lectures, writing, podcasts, and appearances seek out the sacred in music, film, and literature through a Jewish lens in order to place today’s imagination in context of the wisdom of the ages.

He has contributed to anthologies on Bob Dylan (Dylan at Play) and Bruce Springsteen (Reading the Boss) and hosts Bob Dylan: About Man & God & Law on the 🎙Pantheon Podcast Network (www.mangodlaw.com).

📚His field guide to the spiritual wisdom of Bob Dylan will be published by Morgan James in January 2022.

He has served in senior leadership roles at the 92nd Street Y and Shalem College, CEO of the 14th Street Y and the JCC Association, and was once called "the godfather of New Jewish Culture" by the Forward.

Cleveland, Ohio-born, a musician who performed in clubs for a decade or so, and holding a doctorate in Midrash and Scriptural Interpretation, he lives in Jerusalem, where he is proud to be the CEO of the Fuchsberg Jerusalem Center, the gateway to Conservative/Masorti Judaism in Israel.
