I am one half of a former illegal-gone-legit restaurant called Starry Kitchen. I’m a dad. I’m a doggie dad. I’m a child of a dad. (DUH!)

I’ve:
-been in The NY Times (twice?? 🤷‍♂️)
-got caught by the health department before
-talked about serving bugs to The New Yorker
-LA Times published my mug w/ an article on some marijuana dinners I co-hosted
-someone interviewed on a food blog once said “Starry Kitchen” was their least liked food🤣🤣🤣
-I wrote a memoir+cookbook called “Adventures in Starry Kitchen” (🙏 thank you HarperOne 😁)
-partnered up with some fans and did the menu at a bar-arcade called Button Mash next to Dodger Stadium (status: ???🤷‍♂️)
-somehow had a Food Network pilot (2 episodes too😱) once
-infamous for eating two KFC double-downs without having a heartattack from ALL that sodium and lived to tell it (also to LA Times)
-did a viral video for PopSugar (barely) sous vide’ing foods in a hot tub (and was almost busted by cops because the neighbors thought we were shooting a porn... even though sadly we weren’t doing anything that sexy🤷‍♂️)
-always dreamed for the day we would get an ironically-hilarious bad Yelp review where someone would say “Starry Kitchen? More like SORRY KITCHEN!” ...after 12 years I’m still waiting 👩‍🦲🧑‍🦲👨‍🦲👨‍🦳😴
